Anewan Aboriginal Corporation

Our Approach

Our work always begins with the land. We believe that by caring for our Country—the granite hills and high plains of the Northern Tablelands—we are caring for our people. Every project we undertake is assessed for its cultural and environmental impact to ensure we remain true to our role as custodians. We operate through a multi-generational lens. We look to our Elders for wisdom, cultural protocols, and historical guidance, while actively creating pathways for our young people to lead. This ensures our culture stays vibrant and transitions safely into the future.

Through a range of immersive cultural experiences and community support initiatives, we bridge generations and build stronger futures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
